RESOLUTION 96 - 5S0
APPROVING VARIANCE FOR DEAN AND ALICE FJELSTUL FOR SYCAMORE
WOODS, LOCATED AT 410 SYCAMORE CIRCLE NORTH (96107)
WHEREAS, Dean and Alice Fjelstul have requested a Variance to allow creation of Lot 1
of Sycamore Woods with less than 110 feet of lot width; and
WHEREAS, the subject property is located at 410 Sycamore Circle North, legally
described as Tract B, Registered Land Survey No. 1551, Hennepin County, Minnesota;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the Variance request at a duly called
Public Hearing and recommends appro-val.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does arProve the
request of Dean and Alice Fjelstul for a Variance for Sycamore Woods located at 410
Sycamore Circle North, subject to the following conditions:
1. The lot width Variance is hereby granted for Lot 1 of Sycamore Woods in accordance
with the plans received by the City on August 23, 1996, except as amended by this
resolution.
2. The Variance is granted based on the finding that the request meets the Variance
Standards, specifically: 1) the Variance would not have adverse impacts on
surrounding properties; and 2) the Variance would not impair an adequate supply of
light or air, or substantially increase the congestion of public streets.
Approved by the City Council on October 2, 1996.
