RESOLUTION N0.96- 536
WHEREAS, The City Council approved the application to the Minnesota Department of
Transportation for funding of this project on behalf of the City of Plymouth on August 7,
1996, and
WH OUM, the City Council resolved to act as sponsoring unit for Careening Plymouth's
Entryways project, and
WHEREAS, the execution and approval of Agreement No 75490 is a mandatory step to attain
funding for the landscape material for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, M[NNESOTA, that the City of Plymouth enter into Agreement No.
75490 with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes,
to -wit:
to provide for payment by the State to the City of the cost of acquisition of landscape materials
to be planted in the northwest and southwest quadrants of the Trunk Highway No. 494 and
County State Aid Highway No. 15 (Carlson Parkway) interchange within the corporate City
limits under State Project No. 2785-969B (TH 494= 393).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THE property City Officers are hereby authorized and
directed to execute such agreement.
