RESOLUTION NO. 96- 464
RAISE CEILING ON RECEIVING WRITTEN QUOTATIONS FROM UNDER $15,000
TO UNDER $25,000
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth now requires all purchases over $15,000.00 to be
advertised for and receive sealed bids and
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has raised their limit to $25,000 before requiring formal
bidding and
WHEREAS, it is increasing difficult for the Maintenance Divisions to operate in a timely
fashion under our current limits because many of our purchases are falling between the
$15,000 and $25,000 limit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH. MINNESOTA, that the ceiling on quotations be raised from $15,000
to $25,000 for the City of Plymouth.
