RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
12TH AVENUE STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROTECT NO. 523
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of 12th Avenue Street
and Utility Improvements and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:
Ryan Contracting, Inc. $139,531.25
G.L. Contracting 141,022.05
Nodland Construction Company, Inc. 164,654.27
Burchville Construction, Inc. 174,684.34
WHEREAS, it appears that Ryan Contracting, Inc. of Shakopee. MN is the lowest responsible
bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract
with Ryan Contracting, Inc. of Shakopee, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the
construction of 12th Avenue Street and Utility Improvements according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City
Clerk in the amount of $139,531.25.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successfid bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
