CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO.96.368
APPROVING FINANCING FOR FENCING AT
ARMSTRONG BASEBALL/SOFTBALL FIELDS
WHEREAS, the Robbinsdale School Disctrict 281 has requested assistance with the
financing of the upgrade of the Armstrong baseball/softball fields, and
WHEREAS, said fields will be made available for youth and community usage during
the spring, summer and fall months, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has reviewed and
recommended approval of this request, and further staff concurs with this
recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the City has appointed a subcommittee to look at joint cooperative efforts
with the Robbinsdale School District 281,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Finance Director is authorized
to reimburse the Robbinsdale School District $27,000 from the City's tax increment
allocation or park dedication funds for the improvements of Robbinsdale Armstrong
baseball/softball complex.
Adopted by the City Council on June 26, 1996.
