RESOLUTION NO. 9& 344
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the interior of Public Works maintenance
garage vehicle storage area, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the
following bids were received:
Finishing Touch. Painters, Inc.
Commercial Protective Coatings Inc.
$33,990
$58,880
WHEREAS, it appears that Finishing Touch Painters, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder
complying with the minimum specifications:
1. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to purchase from Finishing Touch
Painters, Inc. all labor and materials as per specifications in the amount of $33,990.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the
next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the bid for the interior of Public Works
maintenance garage vehicle storage area be awarded to Finishing Touch Painters, Inc. in the
amount of $33,990.
