RESOLUTION NO. 96- 343
AWARDING BID FOR ICE ARENA REFRIGERATION SYSTEM AND
DASHERBOARDS
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received and opened on Thursday, May 30, in
accordance with City policy, for the installation of an ice refrigeration system and rink
boards for rinks A and B, and
WHEREAS, the total combined bid is $34,722 below the construction manager's
estimate for this work; and
WHEREAS, the City's ice rink consultant is recommending these awards,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the following three bids are horeby awarded:
1. Base bid B indirect refrigeration system to Commercial Refrigeration in the
amount of $609,572.
2. Base bid Rink A steel frame dasherboards to Crystaplex USA in the amount of
$114,311.
3. Base bid Rink B steel frame desherboards to Becker Arena Products in the
amount of $106,586.
