NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny the request by Jerome and Betty Begin for a Variance, based on the finding that the Variance standards have not been met, based on the following findings: 1. No particular hardship related to ►te physical surroundings, shape, or topographical conditions of this particular parcel have been demonstrated to create a particular hardship as distinguished from a mere inconvenience if the strict letter of the regulations were to be carried out. 2. The conditions upon which this petition for variation are based are not unique to this parcel of land. 3. The Variance petition is exclusively based on a desire to increase the income potential of the parcel. 4. This would establish an undesirable precedent for other conventional platted shopping center sites within the City. Denied by the City Council on June 19, 1996. cd/plan/staffrep/res/96033
