CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 96-338
AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO SUBMIT A LOAN
APPLICATION TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL ENVIRONMENTAL
SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services has invited communities
discharging sewage into the Metropolitan Disposal System to apply for loans for projects
aimed at reducing the infiltration and inflow of clear water into system; and
WHEREAS, phase three of the sump pump inspection program would be eligible for
funding under the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services loan program; and
WHEREAS, it is a requirement of the loan application process that the City Council
adopt a resolution authorizing an appropriate staff member to submit an application and
serve as a contact person with the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Finance Director is authorized
to submit an application to the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services for a
matching loan for UI related projects.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director, or designee, shall be the
designated contact person with the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services for the
loan application.
