RESOLUTION NO. 96- 336
Awarding Bid Package 4.1 for Foundation and Subgrade Concrete and Masonry
Construction
WHEREAS, the City formally advertised for sealed bids on the providing of foundation
and subgrade concrete construction for the City's ice arena project, and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on Tuesday, June 18, at 10 a.m., and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received on foundation and subgrade concrete
construction:
1. Steenberg-Watrud Construction, Inc.
$815,000
2. Northland Concrete & Masonry Co.
$835,000
3. Gecrge F. Cook Construction Co.
$960,000
AND, WHEREAS, the City's construction manager and architect are recommending
that we award the bid as shown;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the contract for supplying foundation and
subgrade concrete construction be awarded to Steenberg-Watrud in the amount of
$815,000, and further, that all costs for this work be charged to ice arena project no.
541.
