AWARDING BID FOR SUPPLYING AND INSTALLING PRECAST CONCRETE
STRUCTURAL AND ARCHITECTURAL PRODUCTS
WHEREAS, the City formally advertised for sealed bids on the providing of precast
concrete structural and architectural products for the City's ice arena project, and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on Tuesday, May 28, at 2 a.m., and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received on precast concrete structural and
architectural products:
Spancrete base bid 5515,717
Fabcon alternate bid $469,427
AND, WHEREAS, the City's construction manager and architect are recommending
that we award the bid as shown,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the contract for supplying and installing
precast concrete structural and architectural products be awarded to Spancrete in the
amount of $515,717, and further, that all costs for this work be charged to ice arena
project no. 541.
