REJECTING 810 PACKAGE 4.1 ON FOUNDATION AND SUB -GRADE
CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on foundation and sub -grade construction on
Tuesday, May 28, at 2 p.m., and
WHEREAS, all three bids received far exceeded the construction manager's estimate
for said work, and
WHEREAS, the apparent low bidder did not acknowledge addendum 3 on their official
bid form,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that all bids on bid package 4.1 foundation and
sub -grade construction on ice arena project no. 541 are rejected, and further, that the
construction manager is authorized to rebid this section as soon as possible.
