RESOLUTION NO. 96- 314
AWARDING BID TO 'THOMAS FINN COMPANY FOR ROOF REPLACEMENT
WHEREAS, specification3 were developed for roof replacement at Fire Station No. 2 and the
Four Seasons Pump House; and
WHEREAS, advertisements for bids for roof replacement were placed in the Sailor
Newspaper; and
WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following
bids were received:

WHEREAS, it appears that Thomas Finn Company of St. Paul, Minnesota, is the lowest
responsible bidder complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the bid for the reroofing of Fire Station No. 2
and Four Seasons Pump House be awarded to Thomas Finn Company in the amount of
$65,730, and funding shall come from the Property Management Fund; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT:
1. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a conte .ct with
Thomas Finn Company for the reroofing of Fire Station No. 2 and Four Set sons Pump
House according to plans and specifications on file in the amount of $65,730.
2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith o all bidden
the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful ! ddder and the
next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
