ESTABLISH PUBLIC HEARING
CLOSING A SEGMENT OF
SOUTH SHORE DRIVE TO MOTORIZED VEHICLES
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 160.263 authorizes the City to designate a street under
City jurisdiction as a "bicycle lane" and to close it off to motorized vehicles; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing is required to consider such street closure; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a request for such a street closure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That a public raring is established at the
Council meeting on June S, 1996 to consider a street closure on South Shore Drive at the
Bassett Creek bridge.
FURTHER, that staff is directed to publish notice of said hearing ten days in advance of
the hearing and mail a notice to the abutting property owners within lire City of Plymouth
and to the City of Medicine Like.
Adopted by the City Council on May 15, 1996.
