APPROVING EXECUTION OF A QUIT CLAIM DE ED FROM
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH TO U.S. WEST COMMUNICATIONS, INC
FOR LOT 1, BLACK 1 ROCKFORD ROAD ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth filed a Declaration Restricting Access to Lot it
Block 1, Rockford Road Addition in 1993 on property owned by U.S. West
Communications, Inc. as the result of an erroneous legal description in the document;
and,
WHEREAS, the property in question should have been described as Lot 1, Block 1,
Rockford Addition; and,
WHEREAS, U.S. West Communications, Inc. has requested that the City correct this
error by executing and delivering a quit claim deed in their favor and to terminate the
declaration restricting access on their property;
NOW, THERWORB, BE IT HEIMY Rb3OLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; that it directs the Mayor and City
Manager to take the necessary action to execute and deliver a quit claim deed for the
property described as Lot 1, Block 1, Rockford Road Addition from the City of
Plymouth to U.S. West Communications, Inc.
FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED that the Declaration Restricting Access filed in the
office of the Hennepin County Recorder on June 24, 1993, as Document No. 6104944
be terminated by this action.
