Resolution 96 - 246
APPROVE 1996 CONTRIBUTION OF $29000 TO THE CONECT COLLABORATIVE
WHEREAS, in 1995 the CONECT Collaborative received some of the proceeds from
the sale of phosphorus free fertilizer; and
WHEREAS, in 1996 the fertilizer sale proceeds will go to the city's tree preservation
and planting fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council expressed an interest in making a contribution to the
work of the CONECT Collaborative in an amount roughly equal to the 1995 fertilizer sale
proceeds, and CON33CT Collaborative has requested a contribution of $2,000;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Plymouth City Council does
hareby approve a $2,000 contribution in 1996 to the CONECT Collaborative;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funding for the contribution shall come from the
social services budget.
