AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
PART OF A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT IN
LOT 19 BLOCK 4, PLYMOUTH 0.4" ADDITION AND
LOT 89 BLOCK 19 COURTYARDS 01' PLYMOUTH OAKS
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate part of a drainage slid utility easement in Lot 1, Block 4;
Plymouth Oaks Addition and Lot 8, Block 1, Courtyards of Plymouth Oaks Addition; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area proposed to
be vacated; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for April 17, 1996 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the
meeting of April 17, 1996; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold d public hearing on April 17, 1996 to inform any and all interested
parties relevant to the +acation of a part of a drainage and utility casement in Lot 1, Block 4; Plymouth
Oaks Addition and Lot 8, Block 1, Courtyards of Plymouth Oaks Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CtfY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following part of a drainage and utility easement be vacated:
That part of the drainage and utility easement dedicated across Lot 8, Block 1, Courtyards
of Plymouth Oaks, Hennepin County, Minnesota and that part of the drainage and utility
easement dedicated across former Lot 1, Block 4, Plymouth Oaks, said Hennepin County,
by virtue of the recording of said plats, described as follows:
The west 3.00 feet of the east 11.00 feet of said Lot 8, lying north of the south
50.00 feet thereof and lying southeasterly of a luxe which is parallel with and 10.00
feet southeasterly of the northerly line of said Lot 8.
Adopted by the City Council on April 17, 1996.
