VAUREAS, there am legal duties that are assigned to the City Cleric by statute; and
WHBREAS, there is currently no one appointed to serve as deputy clerk; and
WHEREAS, in the Clerk's absence, delays are experienced in carrying out legally required
duties, and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has appointed Kurt Hoffman and Margo Neva as deputy clerks to
serve in the Clerk's absence.
NOW TiEUWORB, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby confirms the
appointment of Kurt Hoffman and Margo Neva as deputy clerks to serve in the absence of the
City Clerk.
Adopted by the City Council on April 3, 1996.
