RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 176
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
1996 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM
CITY PROJECT NO. 602
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 96-_ ff the City Council adopted the 21st day of
February, 1996, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to the improvements to
certain streets in Maintenance Districts:
• District 29: Orleans Lane from the cul-de-sac south of 47th Avenue
to the cul-de-sac north of 49th Avenue, Quaker Lane from 47th
Avenue to the cul-de-sac north of 49th Avenue, Pilgrim Lane cul-de-
sac north of 47th Avenue, Pilgrim Lane cul-de-sac north of 48th
Avenue, 47th and 49th Avenues from Orleans Lane to Quaker Lane,
48th Avenue from Nathan Lane to 160 feet west of Quaker Lane.
• District 33: Pilgrim Ione from 32nd Avenue to 36th Avenue,
Kilmer Lane from 34th r venue to 36th Avenue, 34th Avenue from
Pilgrim Lane to West Frontage Road State Highway 169, the West
Frontage Road State Highway 169 from 34th Avenue to 35th
Avenue, and 35th Avenue from the West Frop ;e Road State
Highway 169 to Kilmer Lane.
As shown on the 1995 Pavement Management Update; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the reconstruction of streets by the
Installation of bituminous pavement, repair of concrete curb and gutter, and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications
of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 20th day of
March, 1996, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity
to be heard thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:

1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council
resolution adopted February 21, 1996.
2. The Plymouth Engineering Department is designated as engineer for the
improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the
malting of such improvement.
3. The project includes:
Orleans Lane from cul-de-sac south of 47th Avenue to cul-de-sac north of
49th Avenue
Quaker Lane from 4701 Avenue to cul-de-sac north of 49th Avenue
Pilgrim Lane from 47th Avenue north to cul-de-sac
Pilgrim Lane from 48th Avenue north to cul-de-sac
47th Avenue from Orleans Lane to Quaker Lane
48th Avenue from Nathan Lane to 160 feet west of Quaker Lane
49th Avenue from Orleans Lane to Quaker Lane
Pilgrim Lane from 32nd Avenue to 36th Avenue
Kilmer Lane from 34th Avenue to 36th Avenue
34th Avenue from Pilgrim Lane to West Frontage Road State Highway 169
West Frontage Road State Highway 169 from 34th Avenue to 35th Avenue
35th Avenue from West Frontage Road State Highway 169 to Kilmer Lane
Necessary improvements to the storm drainage will be made where feasible.
Adopted by the City Council on March 20, 1996.
