CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 96-174
IMPLEMENT NEW INFORMATION SYSTEMS
WHEREAS, the City's current information systems are no longer able to nieet the needs of
the City
WHEREAS, the City wishes to implement a new generation of information systems that can
meet both current and future needs
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, THAT THE Finance Director is authorized to im-
plement a new core information system during the next two years at a cost of $1,197,140 as
described in the memo of the City Council's information systems sub -committee dated March
12 (including contracting for software and service from SFG at a cost of $902,145).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all costs for these services will come from the computer
reserve during fiscal years 1996, 1997 and 1998.
Adopted by the City Council on March 20, 1996.
