RESOLUTION NO, 96` 145
ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS
1995 WEED ERADICATION AND DESTRUCTIONS ROLL 2
WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and heard
and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for 1995 Weed Eradication and Destruction,
Roll 2 charges as provided by the City Ordinances and has amended such proposed assessment as it
deems just;
NOW, THEREFORE0 BE IT HEREBY RFSOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MViNFSOTA:
1. Such proposed assessment, tk copy of which is attached hereto and made a part thereof, is hereby
accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the land named therein and each uact of
land herein included is hezoby bound to be identified by the amount of the assessment levied
against it.
2. Such assessments shall be payable over a period of one year.
3. Assessments may be paid in full to the City of Plymouth Finance Db-ector by April 5, 1996
without additional charge.. After April 51 1996 daily interest charge balked on an annual rate of
8.00% starting on March 7, 1996 will be due in addition to the levied assessment. The last date a
payment can be accepted by the City of Plymouth is December 2, 1996. After that date interest
shall be added from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1997 and payment can only be
made to Hennepin County with the 1997 property taxes.
4, The clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance
Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county and such assessments shall be
collected and paid over tho same manner as other municipal taxes.
5. The total cost of the 1995 Weed Eradication and Destruction, Roll 2 charges assessed by this
resolution are $1,780.00.
Adopted by the City Council on Match 6, 1996.
