HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1996-144CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. % - 144 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WEST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE BRIDGE CITY PROJECT NO. 330 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on June 20, 1994 the City's Consulting Engineer, Barton-Aschman Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of West Medicine Lake Park Improvements - Phase I; and WHEREAS, the West Medicine Lake Drive bridge structure was removed from the contract at the time of award on October 24, 199; and WHEREAS, a revised plan has been prepared by the City's consulting engineer and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The rnnstruction Bulletin an advertisement for bids for the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once, shall s�xcify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m, on April 5, 1996 at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesoti, by tae City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
