REEWBURSING DEVELOPER FOR
REQUIRED 12" TRUNK WATERMAIN CONSTRUCTION
WALNUT GROVE POND ADDITION (94100)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and Three Star Trucking have entered into a
development contract dated May 31, 1995 for the development of Walnut Grove Pond
Addition; and
WHEREAS, as part of this development, the developer was required to construct a 12"
watermain in Walnut Grove Pond Addition in order to conform with the City of
Plymouth's Water Distribution Plan; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with City policy the developer installed the required 12"
watermain in Walnut Grove Pond Addition in 39th Avenue East of Troy Lane, continuing
easterly to the northeast corner of the plat of Walnut Grove Addition; and
WHEREAS, the work has been completed as detailed in the approved plans and
specifications; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has previously accepted the utilities, including the 12"
watermain, for continual maintenance; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City of Plymouth to reimburse developers for required
watermain street construction upon completion in accordance with the approved plans and
specifications and acceptance for continual maintenance by the City; and
WHEREAS, this amounts to $13,227.50.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the developer, Three Star Trucking,
is to be reimbursed in the amount of $13,227.50 in the construction plans and in
accordance with City policy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funds be allocated front the Trunk Water Fund.
