RESOLUTION % -142
REIMBURSING DEVELOPER FOR
REQUIRED 16" TRUNK WATERMAIN CONSTRUCTION
NANTERRE ADDITION (94093)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and Weston Corporation have entered into a
development contract dated October 13, 1995 for the development of Nanterre Addition;
and
WHEREAS, as part of this development, the developer was required to construct a 16"
watermain in Nanterre Addition in order to conform with the City of Plymouth's Water
Distribution Plan; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with City policy the developer installed the required 16"
watermain hi Nanterre Addition in Schmidt Lake Road west of Vicksburg Lane,
continuing westerly in Weston lane, Yuma Lane and 49th Place North; and
WHEREAS, the work has been completed as detailed in the approved plans and
specifications; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has previously accepted the utilities, including the 16"
watermain, for continual maintenance; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City of Plymouth to reimburse developers for required
watermain street construction upon completion in accordance with the approved plans and
specifications and acceptance for continual maintenance by the City; and
WHEREAS, this amounts to $88,554 plus $10,626 for engineering fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT H13REBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; That the developer, Weston Corporation,
is to be reimbursed in the amount of $99,180 in the construction plans and in accordance
with City policy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funds be allocated from the Trunk Water Fund.
