HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1996-137CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. % - 137 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A SEWER EASEMENT AS REFERENCED IN DOCUMENT NO. 851%2 WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Michelle Bueide of Parsinen. Bowman, Caplin, and Levy, PA has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following sewer easement: A parcel in that part of the northwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4, Section 26, Township 118, north of Range 22 west described as follows: Commencing at an iron monument on the south line of said subdivision, 649.2 feet east of the southwest corner of said subdivision; thence north parallel with the west line of said subdivision, 627.5 feet; thence east to a point on the east line of said subdivision, 671 feet south of the northeast corner of said subdivision; thence south along the east line of said subdivision to the southeast comer thereof, thence west along the south line of said subdivision to the point of beginning, which said parcel is described as follows: Commencing at the southwest comer of the above described tract; thence north along the west line of said tract distance of 33 feet; thence east along a line parallel to the south line of said tract a, distance of 170 feet; thence north along a line parallel to the west line of said tract, a distance of 50 feet; thence east along the line parallel to the south line of said tract to a point 83 feet north of said south line and 180 feet west of the east line of said tract; thence in a northeasterly direction to a point 183 feet north of the south line of the said tract and 80 feet west of the east line of said tract; thence north parallel to the east line of said tract, a distance of 260 feet; thence east along a line parallel to the south line of said tract to a point on the east line of said tra4t; thence south along the east line of said tract to the southeast comer of said tract; thence west along the south line of said tract to the point of beginning and there terminating. AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of April 3, 1996 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, es the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
