RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
1996 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 602
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted January 9, 19% a report
has been prepared with respect to certain streets in Maintenance Districts 29 and 33
based upon the 1995 Pavement Management Biennial Update; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on February 21, 1996;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in
accordance with the report and t`ie assessment of abutting and
adjacent property within the designated 1996 Street Reconstructi'on
Project area for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953,
Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $1,433,000.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
20th day of March 1996 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth
City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk
shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
