HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1996-120• CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. % - 120 RESOLUTION AV FARDING BID NORTHWEST BOULEVARD PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC SIGNAL CITY PROJECT NO. 417 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Northwest Boulevard Pedestrian Traffic Signal, and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Electric Service Company, Inc. $249390 Kilmer Electric Company, Iuc. 25,052 Design Electric, Inc. 27,870 Collisys 349000 WHEREAS, it appears that Electric Service Company of Minneapolis, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract with Electric Service Company, Inc. of Minneapolis, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for Notthwest Boulevard Pedestrian Traffic Signrl according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and c.n file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of $24,390. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders and the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
