CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. % -118
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE
CERTIFICATE OF EXEMPTION FROM THE
1991 WETLAND ACT
Mr. Kevin C. Begin's Property
at 4300 Fernbrook Lane North
WHEREAS, Mr. Kevin C. Begin is requesting an exemption for the excess wetland area
an the southern edge of his property (11,400 sq. ft); and
WHEREAS, this expanded wedand area was created due to the neighboring stormwater
pond construction, and
WHEREAS, the expanded area of the wetland is exempt from the 1991 Wetland Act
under Exemption 10: " activities in a wetland c►eated solely as a result of: actions by
public entities that were taken for a purpose other than creating the wetland...".
Activities in a Type 2 Wetland that is two acres in size or less located on agricultural
land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor is authorized to execute
the Certificate of Exemption Form for Mr. Kevin C. Begin's Property.
