CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 95
RECEIVING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
HUGHSTON ADDITION AND ADJACENT AREA
CITY PROJECT NO. 537
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted November 14, 1995, a
report has been prepared by Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik and Associates, Inc. with
respect to the improvement of 41st Avenue north and adjacent area north of State
Highway 55 and east of County Road 101; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the improvement of 41st Avenue and
adjacent area by the installation of a 33 foot wide street with concrete curb and gutter,
storm sewer, sanitary sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by ft Council on February 7, 1996.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in
accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and
adjacent property along 41st Ave. and Highway 55 within the
Hughston Addition for All or a poition of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111
(Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of
the improvement of $148,510.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
6th day of March 1996, in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth
City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk
shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
Adopted by the City Council on February 7, 1996.
