WHEREAS, Hennepin County has provided the City with a list of nonconservation properties which have become tax forfeit as a result of nonpayment of property taxes and/or special assessments: and WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Council's Tax Forfeit Land policy, each parcel hm been reviewed; and WHEREAS, parcel 03-118.22-41-0045 does not serve a public purpose; and WHEREAS, the parcel is a vacant commons area for the Bass Lake Heights Addition which the developer did not appropriately convey to the homeowners association; and WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of returvr3; tax forfeit parcels to private ownership whenever possible. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth that it hereby.- 1. ereby: 1. Declares Parcel 03-118-22-41-0045 to be currently unbuildable from a zoning and city code perspective; and 2. Authorizes the private sale of said parcel to the adjacent owners in accordance with Hennepin County procedures. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council affirms the non -conservation classification status by the Board of County Commissioners, and rectifies that the parcel does not need to be withheld from sale pursuant to appll,.;able state laws. The Council certifies that it does not know of any wells located on the property. Adopted by the City Council on February 7, 1996.
