RESOLUTION NO. 96-65
CERTIFYING RESULTS OF FEBRUARY 6,19%,
SPECIAL CITY ELECTION
WIIEREAS, a Special Election was held on February 6, 1996, in the City of
Plymouth, Minnesota; and
WHSItBAS, a governing body is required to meet to certify the results of a local
question within two days after the election; and
WHEMIAS, this Council has canvassed the results by precinct of said Special Election.
IOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEMY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OR PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it is hereby found and determined
that at the Special Election held in the City of Plymouth, February 6, 1996, to vote on
the following question:
"SHALL THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH BE AUTHORIZED TO SPEND
UP TO $5,000,000 FROM THE COMMUNITY IMPROVENWT
FUND, TO BE COMBINED WITH OTHER FUNDS, FOR THE
PURPOSE OF DESIGNING, CONSTRUCTING, AND EQUIPPING A
FACILITY INCLUDING AN INDOOR ICS ARENA, SWRAU NG
POOLS, AND RELATED SITE IMPROVEMENTS? TB:RSE ARE
FUNDS ON HAND AND A TAX INCREASE WILT. NOT FE
NEEDED TO PAY BONDED INDEBTEDNESS FOR THC;
PROJECT."
