WHEREAS, the Forestry Division will act on 1996 Street Tree Trimming Proposal to be
carried out on City owned right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with City bid, specifications were proposed and distributed and bid
proposals were received and opened on January 11, 1996 and
WHEREAS, the following contractors received bid specifications, and two bids were received
by the City:

no bid
Ostvig Tree, Inc.

United Tree Service 510000
$50.00/hour
AND, WHEREAS, the bid of United Tree Service is in conformance with City specifications
for routine maintenance trimming of street trees and, therefore, United Tree Service declared
the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, accept the proposal
of United Tree Service in the line item amount of $20,000; and
FURTHER, that funds for this proposal are authorised from Account No. 101•-125-810.24.
Adopted by the City Council on January 23, 1996.
