CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION 96- 60
APPROVING AMENDMENT TO PAGE 31 OF LAND USE GUIDE PLAN TO
ADOPT THE CONCEPT PLAN AND DESIGN GUIDELINES FOR CITY CENTER

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted a Public Hearing regarding an
Amendment to Page 31 of the Land Use Guide Plan of the Comprehensive Plan to adopt
the Concept Plan and Design Guidelines for City Center located north of Highway 55,
south of Rockford Road and East f Vicksburg Lane; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has revievred the memorandum on land value and
development potential and the report of the City's Traffic Consultant regarding the impact
of such an amendment on the adjoining streets and highways as well as other concept
planning studies prepared by the City's City Center Consultants and has recommended
approval of the amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does amend Page
31 of the Land Use Guide Plan of the Comprehensive Plan to adopt the Concept Plan and
Design Guidelines for City Center located north of Highway 55, south of Rockford Road
and East of Vicksburg Lane.
FURTHER, that this amendment to Page 31 of the Land Use Guide Plan of the
Comprehensive Plan is contingent on the review of the Metropolitan Council, as required
by Minn. Stat. 473.175.
Adopted by the City Council on January 23, 1996.
