HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1995-730CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 95. 730 WHEREAS, it has been proven that the ability and time to mobilize available resources during an emergency has a direct impact on victim survival; and WHEREAS, this has been proven to be true in water rescue incidents; and WHEREAS, in current mutual aid situations, there is a delay in the request and dispatch of personnel to the scene; and WHEREAS, in an effort to eliminate the delay, Plymouth Fire Department is recommending a cooperative use agreement with Wayzata Fire Department and Medicine Lake Department; and WHEREAS, this agreement allows for the simultaneous dispatch of one of the other departments predetermined by location; and WHEREAS, the City Council agrees this is a beneficial use of manpower and equipment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council approves and adopts this automatic mutual aid agreement.
