CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 9S -701
AUTHORIZING MWdDERSHIP IN
SUBURBAN TRANSIT ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, an organization has been formed known as the Suburban Transit Association
composed of cities within the metropolitan area which operate "Opt -Out" transit systema;
and
WHEREAS, this organization is being formed as a joint powers agreement in accordance
with the Statutes of the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, it is considered a mutual benefit to the City to be a member of the
association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA. that the City enter into the joint powers
agreement to become a member of the Suburban Transit Association.
FLAtTHER, that the Mayor is appointed as the City Representative and the City Transit
Administrator Is appointed as the alternate.
