HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1995-691i CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 691 RECEIVING PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELUMARY REPORT HUGHSTON ADDITION AND ADJACENT AREA NORTH OF HIGHWAY 55 STREET AND UTHM 51PROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 537 WHEREAS, a petition has been received requesting the City to make improvements to Hughston Addition and adjacent area north of Highway 55 by the installation of 7 ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter, sanitary sewer, watermain, storm drainage facilities, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the proposed improvements for Hughston Addition and ;adjacent area north of Highway 55 be referred to Bonestroo, Rosen, Anderlik and Assoc., Inc. for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended.
