WSE UMI the Northwest Hennepin Human Services Council is effective partneiship
between Hennepin County and suburban municipalities to meet local human services needs;
and
WHEREAS, we Northwest Hennepin Human Services Council has effectively
managed its budget to meet a variety of local needs and has used its from the County and
member municipalities to leverage funding from other sources; and
WHEREAS, proposed 1996 Hennepin County funding reductions for the Council will
have a negative impact on human services planning and coordination efforts in fifteen
suburban municipalities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Plymouth, Minnesota does hereby urge the Hennepin Board of County Commissioners to
maintain 1995 funding levels for the Northwest Hennepin Human Services Council.
