RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 6
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
WEST MEDICINE LAKE PARK D4PROVEb ENT - PHASE I
CITY PROJECT NO. 330
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the constriction of the West Medicine
Lake Park Improvement - Phase I, and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received,
opL red and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with
the advertisement:
J & K Grading & Trucking, Inc. $1,472,205.90
C, S. McCrossan Construction, Inc. $1,7451026.05
Midwest Asphalt, Inc. $19663,048.55
WHEREAS, it appears that J & K Grading & Trucking, Inc.of Jordan, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOT44% THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH,n •
1. The Mayor wed City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached
contract with J & K Grading & Trucking, Inc. of Jordan, MN in the name of the City of
Plymouth for the West Medicine Lake Park Improvement - Phase I according to the plans
and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the
City Clerk in the amount (less the bridge structure and off-site wetland mitigation items) of
$996,005.90.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders and the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract leas been signed.
