CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 600
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
JONQUIL LANE RIGHT-OF-WAY IN
PARKSIDE AT MEDICINE LAKE ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate Jonquil Lane right-of-way in Parkside at Medicine
Lake Addition; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area
proposed to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for October 3, 1995 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weep prior to
the meeting of October 3, 1995; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail;
and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on the proposed varation to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of Jonquil Lane right-of-way in Parksidc at Medicine
Lake Addition; and
WHfiREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easentents were not needed for
public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CT THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following portion of Jonquil Lane right-of-way in
Parkside at Medicine Lake Addition be vacated:
All of Jonquil Lane as platted in Parkside at Medicine Lake Addition
FURTHER, that said vacation shall not affect the authority of any person, corporation, or
municipality owning or controlling the electric or telephone poles and lines, gas and sewer lines,
water pipes, mains and hydrants thereon or thereunder, to continue maintaining the same, to enter
upon such way or portion thereof vacated to repair, replace, remove otherwise attend thereof.
FURTHER, subject to a drainage and utility easement over, under, and across all of vacated
Jonquil Lane street easement,
