HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1995-587• CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 95 -587 APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW PLACEMENT OF FILL IN THE FLOOD PLAIN FOR THE RELOCATION OF WEST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE BETWEEN 18TH AND 23RD AVENUES NORTH (95097) WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has requested a Conditional Use Permit to allow placement of fill in the Flood Plain, located in Government Lot 2 and in the plats of Ponderosa Woods, Elmhurst Addition, Penwalk Addition RLS 17, RLS 18 and Elmhurst Gateway 2nd Addition all located in Section 26, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, this Conditional Use Permit would allow West Medicine Lake Drive to be relocated to the west of it present location in the area between 18th and 23rd Avenues North; and WHEREAS, the project meets all the standards of Section 6 A of the Zoning Ordinance, as required for issuance of a Conditional Use Permit; and WHEREAS, the existing crossing of West Medicine Lake Drive which previously placed fill in the Flood Plain will be removed; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public !tearing and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by City of Plymouth for a Conditional Use Permit to allow placement of fill in the Flood Plain for the relocation of West Medicine Lake Drive between 18th and 23rd Avenues North.
