RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
11) 11 -113-1 "Tokles 411:4
CITY PROJECT NO. 213
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of:
Schmidt Lake Road from Northwest Boulevard to Fernbrook Lane and
Fernbrook Lane from Schmidt Lake Road to approximately 900 feet north.
by the installation of bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, 8 foot
wide bituminous trail, sanitary sewer trunk and lateral, and lateral watermain facilities,
and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is
$2,201,288.05 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said
improvement amount to $390,659.88 so the total cost of the improvement will be
$2,591,947.93 and of this cost the City will pay $ 1,388,620.19 as its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main,
pumping and storage facilities for the above project shall be applied to the
existing land use zoning.
Watermain Area Commercial/Industrial $2,370 per acre
2. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be
$6461743.24.
3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be special assessed from such improvement
against every accessible lot, piece of parcel of land within the district affected,
without regard to cash valuation, as provided by the law, and shall file a copy
of suet proposed assessment in the office for public inspection.
4. Tl;p Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the
Council thereof.
