S02 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of Peony Lane - Grading and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Park Construction $ 907,225.58 Enebak Construction Company 947,240.20 Ames Construction, Inc. 975,000.00 Imperial Developers 19049,536.00 C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc. 11059,178.20 DLR Excavating 1,0620100.00 Ryan Contracting 1,129,875.00 J & K Grading & Trucking, Inc. 10160,477.50 Richard Knutson, Inc. 1,187,342.12 GL Contrrcting 11303,360.90 Veit & Company, Inc. 1,325,183.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Park Construction of Fridley, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract with Park Construction of Fridley, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the construction of Peony Lane - Grading according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of 5907,225.58. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders and the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. FURTHER, that the Mayor :s authorized to sign the agreement with the Soo Line (CP) Railroad for the pipe line crossing at Peony Lane. Adopted by the City Council on October 3, 1995.
