WHEREAS, in May 1995 Plymouth voters approved the issue tie of $2,235,000 in
general obligation bonds to acquire various open space areas throughout Plymouth, and the
use of $1,000.000 in other city funds to construct additional trails; and
WHEREAS, the Community improvement Fund is the recommended source of
funding for the $1,000,000 of trail construction approved by voters; and
WHEREAS, all the requirements of City Code Section 321 pertaining to expenditures
from the Community Improvement Fund have been iaet, and a public hearing held on
September 5 on the trail project and the Community Improvement Fund as funding source;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plymouth, Minnesota that the Com.nunity Improvement Fund is designated as the funding
source for $1,000,000 for trail construction.
