RESOLUTION No. 95 - 522
APPROVE "NO PARKINC " SIGN INSTALLATION ON
8TH AVENUE, rill AVENUE BETWI IN VICKSBURG LANE AND EAST STS
AVENUE INTERSECTION AND WE%TON LANE ALL IN BIRCH BRIAR AND
BIRCH BRIAR EAST ADDITION
WHEREAS, the Independcnt School ' :' istrict No. 284 has a Student Parking Permit
System for Wajzata Senior High; and
WiE1tEAS, this program causes dislocation of some student vehicles from off-street
school parking lots to on -street locations; and
WHEREAS, the residents on certain streets have requested restrictive parking; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to m".nkmize on -street parting to enhance vehicular and
pedestrian safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HJ . t'13BY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, NUNNESOTA: That it hereby authorizes the
installation of "No Parking" signs at the following locations:
"No Parking - 8:00 a.m, to 2:00 p.m., School Days"
8th Avenue, 9th Avenue between Vicksburg Lane and east 8th Avenue
intersection and Weston Lane all in Birch Briar and Birch Briar Bast
Addition
Adopted by the City Council on September 5, 1995.
