CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION 95 - 521
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth, in an effort to inform residents in a cost-effective
manner of sound waste reduction, pollution prevention and disposal options has joined with
eleven other cities in western Hennepin County to produce a Waste Reduction Guide; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to bA advertisement for bids for printing and mail preparation of the
Waste Reduction Guide in a quantity of 72,650 for distribution to all participating cities
with each city paying for their required number of copies pro nom, bids were received,
opened and tabulated according to law, and the bids on the attached form wem received
complying with the advertisement; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Precision Graphics of Plymouth is the 3owest responsible
bidder, complying with the minimum specifications, including paper stock that is 100%
recycled with a minimum of 50% post -consumer material.
NOW, MEREFORB, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA,: To accept the bid of Precision Graphics, Inc. for
printing and mail preparation of the Waste Reduction Guide, as proposed in Option TV, on
75X Incentive 100 Reply Card Stock (cover) and 60# Incentive 100 onset (pages) in a total
amount of $24,299.
Adopted by the City Council on September 5, 1995.
