RESOLUTION 95- 466
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PUDDLE JUMPERS CHILD
CARE CENTER LOCATED AT PLYMOUTH COVENANT CHURCH, 4300
VICKSBURG LANE NORTH (95080)
WHEREAS, Rhonda Doyle and Melanie Welton have requested approval of a
Conditional Use Permit for Puddle Jumpers Child Care Center at Plymouth Covenant
Church, 4300 Vicksburg Lane North;
The property is more specifically described as follows:
That part of Government Lot 1 lying south of north 662 feet thereof and that of
Government Lot 2 Described as beginning at northwest corner thereof; thence
south to center line of Rockford Road; thence easterly along said center line to
center line of drainage ditch; thence northerly along center line of ditch to north
line of Government Lot 2; thence west to beginning including accretions thereto
except roads, Section 16, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called
Public Hearing and recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve
the request by Rhoda Doyle and Melanie Welton for a Conditional Use Permit to allow
Puddle Jumpers Child Care Center at 4300 Vicksburg Lane North, subject to the
following conditions:
1. The Conditional Use Permit allows the operation of a child care center, in
accordance: with the application and plans received by the City on July 13, 1995,
except as emended by this resolution.
2. Compliance with Resolutions 80-750 and 84-733 relating to Conditional Use
Permit and S ite Plan Approval for the church, except as amended by this
resolution.
3. The daycare program is limited to a maximum of 21 children, and the latch -key
program is limited to a maximum of 30 children.
4. The child care center shall be licensed by the State.
i 5. The fence for the outdoor play area shall be subject to a fence permit and shall not
be located in a required yard. No trees shall be removed to accommodate the play
area.

6. The site shall be maintained in a sanitary manner.
7. Any signage shall be in compliance with the Sign Ordinance.
8. All parking shall be off-street in designated area which comply with the Zoning
Ordinance.
9. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and
approvals per Ordinance provisions.
10. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances, and
violation thereof shall bk: grounds for revocation.
