RESOLUTION NO. 95. 426
WHEREAS, The Plymouth Crime and Fire Prevention Association held a campaign to
raise donations for a water rescue craft for use by the Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the Association raised necessary funds and purchased an Avon FRB 380,
water rescue craft and accompanying water rescue safety equipment to use the crag; and
WHEREAS,.the Plymouth Fire Department has need of such craft to assist in water and
ice rescues as well as addressing environmental protection issues such as contaminant releases;
and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Crime and Fire Prevention Association wishes to donate the
purchased equipment to the City for Fire Department use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution accepting the donation of an
Avon FRB 380 inflatable water rescue craft and accompanying water rescue safety equipment
from the Plymouth Crime and Fire Prevention Association.
Adopted by the City Council on July 18, 1995.
