WHEREAS, the City Council has determined a need tc. examine its comprehensive
plan and zoning requirements for commercial and industrial uses; and
WHEREAS, other plan and ordinance amendments are also necessary to update the
City's requirements for new development, as part of the planning to be undertaken for
Northwest Plymouth, and in connection with the Em Creek Cluster Planning process
in which the City is now r:ngaged; and
WHEREAS, staff has prepared a request for proposals to seek consultant assistance
with this work to supplement staff resources, describing in detail the tasks that must be
completed;
NOW, TIR BEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE =
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that staff is hereby authorized to issue a request for
proposals to secure consultant assistance to prepare various comprehensive plan and
zoning ordinance amendments.
