RESOLUTION No. 9S . 370
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
DRAINAGE AND UTQITY EASEMENTS IN
LOT 2, BLOCK 1, HEMLOCK LANE ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain drainage and utility easements in Lot 2,
Block 1, Hemlock Lane Addition; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area
proposed to be vacated; and
WI11MREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for June 20, 1995 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to
the meeting of June 20, 1995; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail;
and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on June 20, 1995 to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of drainage and utility easements in Lot 2, Block 1,
Hemlock Lane Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes;
NOW, T HER.IEFORB, BE IT HEREBY ABSOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following drainage and utility easements be vacated:
That portion of the north 110.00 feet of Lot 2, Block 1, Hemlock Lane Addition
according to the plat thereof on file or of record in the office of the Hennepin
County Registrar of 'isles.
That part of the above described property within the rectangle formed by the
following described line: Commencing at the southeast corner of said Lot 2;
thence west alone the south line of said Lot 2, a distance of 6.0 feet which is the
point of beginning of the line to be described; thence north parallel to the east line
of said Lot 2, a distance of 20.0 feet; thence wvRt parallel to the south line of said
Lot 20 a distance of 69.0 feet; thence south parallel to the east line of said Lot 21 a
distance of 14.0 feet; thence east parallel to the south line of said Lot 2, a distance
of 69.0 feet to the point of beginning.
Adopted by the City Council on June 20, 1995.
