HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1995-3380 CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO 95- 338 APPROVING SUMP PUMP INSPECTION PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City is experiencing large sewer bills from Metropolitan Council Wastewater Services; and WHEREAS, it is believed that a large portion of the billings from Metropolitan Council Wastewater Services are a result of inflow and infiltration into the sanitary sewer system; and WHEREAS, a survey of Minnesota Cities with sump pump inspection programs have resulted in large decreases in the inflow and infiltration volume; and WHEREAS, the City Financial Analyst in his memo of April 12, 1995 has shown that the City of Plymouth could potentially reduce its inflow and infiltration substantially by the implementation of a symp pump inspection program; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, d 1t the Finance Director is hereby directed to conduct a sump pump inspection program including requests for proposals for Phase I of the program based upon Alternative B of the Financial Analyst's April 12, 1995 memo.
